Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for VOGUE

Rihanna doesn't have time to worry about people comparing her to Beyoncé. After all, she's just getting started with her ANTI World Tour, and, as revealed on Thursday (March 17), she's landed the cover of Vogue (walking on water, no less!). In her cover story for the mag, Rih sets the record straight about getting pitted against other women.

Beyonce surprise-dropped new song "Formation" a week after Rih finally released her much-anticipated album, ANTI. Because of that, a Bey vs. Rih storyline formed among the media, with some saying that Bey was trying to steal Rih's thunder. But there's nothing there, Rihanna says.

“Here’s the deal: They just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that.”
