Before hitting up London's famed O2 arena, the boys swung by BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show with host Nick Grimshaw. 5SOS and Grimmy get along famously and at one point, the band does a dramatic reading of the fan favorite song, "Pizza."
The conversation delightfully unravels from there. 5 Seconds of Summer answer fan questions and, well, here's what we learned:
- Luke Hemmings' love of penguins is no longer unconditional.
- Michael Clifford's doesn't know the names of most soups, identifies them by color.
- Ashton Irwin tells a weird story about scary fish in Indonesia.
- Calum Hood makes a joke about the word "Jesus," and how when read backwards, it sounds like "sausage." Yup.
