Adam Levine’s song, “Go Now,” for the upcoming film Sing Street has a music video.
The clip alternates between shots of Levine in the studio recording “Go Now” and scenes from musical dramedy. Set in Dublin in 1980s, Sing Street is a coming-of-age, semi-autobiographical film about a teenage boy who is dissatisfied with both his home and school life, and ends up starting a band to try to impress a girl.
Last year, Variety reported that the Irish director John Carney would be working with U2 frontman, Bono, on the musical front. Besides the music made for the fictional band in the movie, Levine’s “Go Now” is the only original song for the soundtrack. The Sing Street soundtrack includes Motörhead, Duran Duran, The Cure, Hall & Oates, and more.
