We can’t get enough of Beyoncé’s newest album, Lemonade, and it looks like we aren’t
the only ones.

According to Variety, HBO just announced that they plan to submit the 65-minute Lemonade film for an Emmy in the variety special category. The visual album debuted on HBO on Saturday night for a 27-hour window, making it eligible for Emmy consideration.

This is not the first time Beyoncé is up for an Emmy nomination. In 2013 her Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show performance was nominated, and last year she was nominated for the HBO's On the Run Tour concert special with Jay Z. Could Lemonade be Bey's first win?

Variety says HBO is currently in the process of working out whether Kahlil Joseph and Beyoncé can be joined by additional directors Melina Matsoukas, Todd Tourso, Dikayl Rimmasch, Jonas Akerlund and Mark Romanek for the category. Lemonade could also be a real contender for consideration in the lighting design/lighting direction category.
