AUSTIN, TX - OCTOBER 11: Chancelor Bennett aka Chance The Rapper performs during Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker

Chicago native Chance the Rapper got the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the White Sox home opener earlier today. Chance has been known to rep both his city and his team on a regular basis, and his White Sox-inspired tour merch was noticed enough that the team asked him to redesign their hats in tandem with New Era.

While it wasn't Chance's first time throwing out the ceremonial pitch for the Sox, it was his first time doing so while battling the elements. Still, Chano from 79th powered through the storm and got the ball across the plate (although it was probably a bit outside the zone if we're being honest).

You can watch Chance's pitch and his giddy, celebratory dance below.
