At the beginning of this year, Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter revealed that the alt-metal band's long-awaited eighth studio LP, Gore, would arrive on April 8. Soon after the band dropped "Prayers/Triangles," the lead single from the release, one that easily recalls 2006's Saturday Night Wrist.
