Game is one of the first artists to opt for an original musical tribute to Prince, who passed away on Thursday, April 21 at the age of 57. Hours after Prince’s death, Game released the Lorine China–featuring “Rest in Purple,” a reflection on The Artist’s legacy.

“All these legends dying, God gotta be runnin’ out of room,” Game raps. “How he die? Don’t nobody even know yet / All I know is I ain’t ready to go yet.”

Meanwhile, China has “purple in my cup” and sees “purple in the sky” on the hook. Game also uses Prince’s untimely passing as an opportunity to preach the importance of appreciating what we have: “Live your life and love your family / Don’t take the world in vain.”
