OK, so most “Gilmore Girls” fans wanted Luke and Lorelai together by the time the CW show ended after seven seasons in  2007.  Hell, even Lauren Graham (a.k.a. Lorelai Gilmore herself) wanted them together. And it looks like when the show returns to Netflix in a 4-section reboot, they might be an item, according to a new preview.

New photos, an exclusive to Entertainment Weekly, show that Luke and Lorelai are holding hands in the new season... and it does not look platonic.

The photos also show Rory (Alexis Bledel) standing in front of a class. Is she a teacher now? What happened to wanting to be a reporter overseas?

At the end of EW's photo gallery, which you should peep here, we got all the sads when Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop) was photographed alone with the caption "...and Emily’s life as a widow." CAN THEY NOT RIGHT NOW???
