On April 6, Janet Jackson disclosed on Twitter that she would be postponing her world tour   because she and her husband Wissam Al Mana are planning to start a family.

Jackson had previously delayed her tour twice before due to vocal surgery and health concerns. Just a few days after Jackson’s initial announcement that her Unbreakable Tour would be postponed, a Live Nation representative gave word to Us Weekly that the tour would continue in 2017.

The statement reads:

“The Janet Jackson Unbreakable tour in North America will be postponed until 2017. New dates will be announced at a later time, and tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase. Stay tuned to and for further info.”

Jackson tweeted a link to the article as confirmation of the news.
