Last night's episode of Saturday Night Live saw Nick Jonas take the stage to perform tracks from his forthcoming album This Year Was Complicated. The performance marked Jonas' first time playing SNL, and a major coup for him as he sets sail as a solo-artist. His former group, the Disney-orchestrated Jonas Brothers, broke up in 2013, but by the looks of last night's concert, it's clear Nick's doing fine on his own. Watch him sing "Champagne Problems" above.

The singer was introduced by host Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who gave the audience nostalgic flashbacks by reprising her Seinfeld character Elaine Benes during the show's opening skit. In the satirical take on last week's Democratic primary debate in Brooklyn, Elaine grills Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton about their plans for the presidency. Watch it below.

Further down on the the SNL pipeline is musical guest Alicia Keys, who'll perform on the May 7 episode alongside host Brie Larson.
