Update (3:10 p.m. ET): Zedd announced that "True Colors" with Kesha will be out on Friday (April 29). The producer already has an album and song by that title.

Original story (11 a.m. ET): Kesha is definitely working with Zedd. After dropping a few hints along the way, the singer confirmed it on Instagram on Wednesday morning with a photo of her in the studio.

"It's a miracle when someone gives you a chance at finding your voice again with no reason other than that he is a fucking beautiful person with a heart of gold @zedd #truecolors," wrote Kesha, who has been in the middle of a legal battle to get released from her label, which is owned by longtime collaborator/alleged abuser Dr. Luke.

Over the course the legal journey, Zedd had reached out to make music with Kesha and brought her out onstage during his Coachella set earlier this month. She'll be performing again at Dylan Fest in May.

The New York court had denied that Kesha be released from her record contract, but lawyers for Dr. Luke say that she is allowed to work with other producers, although Kesha had originally alleged that she had been forced to work only with Dr. Luke. She claims that she was offered a way out of her contract if she apologized.
