M83's 'Junk': The 5 Best Songs For Dancing Your Ass Off

The French synthpop act is back almost five years after the monumental 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'—and they still know how to make you move

1 / 5

"Do It, Try It"

Junk's first song gets things off to the perfect start with some weird piano before blasting into the type of thumping beat that M83 always gets you grooving to. There's no way to be anything but uninhibited once that meltdown starts just before the three-minute mark.

2 / 5

"Bibi the Dog" featuring Mai Lan

All these dancey new M83 songs are dancey in a specific way: The way where your huge helpless smile does at least half the heavy lifting. "Bibi the Dog" will take you straight there from the jump.

3 / 5

"Lazer Gun" featuring Mai Lan

This is your "swaying gently with hands in the air" moment. Catch your breath. Surf on some synths. You'll be bunny-hopping by the end.

4 / 5

"Moon Crystal"

You're gonna want to have a disco-appropriate outfit for this one, and make sure your honey's nearby. Or just dance awkwardly with your dog or cat—seems appropriate for this record.

5 / 5

"Road Blaster"

Hope you saved your goofiest moves for the goofiest title on the record. This one's tempo and rhythm might actually only allow for goofy moves.

Mar. 28: ‘Bel-Air’ Reunion

The cast of ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ reunited and it’s making us emotional. Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks on the beloved show, shared the heartwarming pic on Instagram after spending an afternoon with his ‘Fresh Prince’ family which included Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Joseph Marcell. James Avery, who played Uncle Phil on the show, sadly passed away in 2013, but he is not forgotten. “Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.” Ribeiro shared.
