Last month, our favorite San Diego post-hardcore heroes Pierce the Veil announced their fourth studio album, Misadventures, would drop May 13 via longtime label Fearless Records. The highly-anticipated LP will follow the band's 2012 debut Collide with the Sky and should pack much of the same heaviness.

That was confirmed just days later when they shared "Texas is Forever" from the release, a truly punishing track. With their latest sonic gift to us, "Circles," we're now wondering if perhaps this will be the band's most dynamic recording to date.

The song is driven by power chords and a certain pop-punk feel. Frontman Vic Fuentes' vocals are softer than we're used to, perhaps in an effort to really get us to listen to the story he's trying to tell. Whatever the case, we're here for it.

Listen above. When you're done there, revisit our interview with the band from the 2015 Alternative Press Music Awards.
