Stagecoach—the country festival brought to you by the folks behind Coachella—dropped it like it's hot last night, as Sam Hunt brought some super unexpected guest stars to his Mane Stage set.
After playing a ton of his hits off Montevallo, his 2014 debut boasting "Leave the Night On," "Take Your Time" and more, Hunt capped off his sunset set by carting out Snoop Dogg, Bebe Rexha and G-Eazy, three artists who dealt a jolt of hip-hop and pop to the twangy lineup of the weekend.
First up were Rexha and G-Eazy, who got the crowd dancing with their massive hit, "Me, Myself & I." After the audience lost their minds to their collaboration, Hunt continued with the out-of-left-field surprises and brought out the Doggfather himself, who appeared to be tickled pink at the chance to perform "Drop It Like Its Hot" for a few thousand of totally unsuspecting fans.
He stayed and intro-ed Hunt's "House Party" before Hunt, his band and the rest of the pop/country/hip-hop crew came out to dance through the party anthem. Hunt's clearly a country talent who's into working different genres into the mix—he also covered Drake's "Marvins Room"—so here's to sneak attack innovation at one of country's biggest music events of the year.
