Taylor Swift has landed her third Vogue cover, and she's taking on a whole new look. Along with the reveal, editor Anna Wintour announced that Swift will co-chair the 2016 Met Gala, fashion's biggest night, which celebrates the opening of new, themed exhibits at New York's Metropolitian Museum of Art.

“I’m thrilled that it’s Taylor Swift, who’s my co-chair this year at the Met Gala,” Wintour said on Today. “And we very much wanted to give Taylor a new look, make her into a sort of a rock 'n’ roll chick.”

Swift is no stranger to that ~rocker~ look. On her 1989 Tour, she channeled her angst for an electric version of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" in all leather. But this time, it's different. Swift's hair is nearly platinum (she couldn't sport her Anna Wintour bob on Anna Wintour's magazine!!), and she's wearing designer everything (duh). She's wearing a Saint Laurent mini dress by Hedi Slimane on the cover. Slimane just stepped down as creative director of Yves Saint Laurent, so this is an homage.

The theme of this year's gala is “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology." See the cover sans text below:
