Will Ferrell and the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith hosted the Red Hot Benefit Comedy + Music Show & Quinceanera last night (April 29).

The event included performances from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Devo, but the center attraction was a team drum-off. In 2014, Ferrell and Smith faced off in a drum-off on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The two brought out a number of celebrity drummers for a team drum-off that included the Foo Fighter’s Taylor Hawkins, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, Fred Armisen, Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood, as well as the Police’s Stewart Copeland.

The charity event was in support of a pair of organizations, Cancer for College and Silverlake Conservatory of Music, that Ferrell and Smith were backing.
