Alicia Keys performed as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night and the R&B singer delivered two new songs, “Hallelujah” and “In Common.”

After teasing “In Common” for the last few weeks, Keys officially released the song earlier this week (May 4). A few weeks ago, Keys debuted the ballad “Hallelujah” at BET’s Upfront event at the Lincoln Center in New York City. Her SNL performances of the two songs were the first time they were televised. Both “In Common” and “Hallelujah” are presumably to be featured on her forthcoming album due later this year.

Hosted by actress Brie Larson, last night’s episode also included a skit called “Hologram Album,” in which the SNL cast members, as holograms, imitated deceased entertainers singing contemporary pop and hip-hop songs. The sketch featured Larson as Leslie Gore singing Nicki Minaj’s verses in “Dance (A$$),” Roy Orbison performing Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” Eartha Kitt warbling Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money,” Paul Robeson crooning Fetty Wap's “Trap Queen,” and of course, no hologram album would be complete without Tupac chanting Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” Watch the skit below.
