Axl Rose is, at long last, back on his feet. That sentence is deeply literal, as the Guns N’ Roses leader and current AC/DC frontman has partially recovered from breaking a bone in his foot earlier this year.
On Thursday night (May 19), Rose left the throne he had inhabited since early April when AC/DC headlined the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna, Austria. According to NME, Rose used the throne he had borrowed from Dave Grohl and which he used at Coachella, but got up and roamed around on multiple occasions during the show.
AC/DC played its first show with Rose filling in for Brian Johnson on May 7. The dates with AC/DC come in the middle of Guns N’ Roses’ comeback tour, which kicked off last month and will hit several U.S. stadiums beginning in June (with Lenny Kravitz and Alice In Chains in tow!).
