The tale that was once old as time is getting a fresh spin for the modern age, as the first trailer for Beauty and the Beast has arrived. The film, which is Disney's live adaptation of its own 1991 animated classic, is a wintry and magical adventure.

Starring Emma Watson as Belle, the trailer opens up with her entering the Beast's castle as hushed whispers of “Look, it’s a girl!" and "What if she’s the one?” are heard in the background. Once Belle gets close to the enchanted rose, that oh-so-familiar theme song begins.

Beauty and the Beast is directed by Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and2), and will also star Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Kevin Kline as Maurice and Audra McDonald as Garderobe.
