Love was in the air and on the stage at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards when Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed a duet of their new collaboration, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."

The real-life couple/Voice coaches brought their country-pop duet to life, as Gwen strolled out in a sparkling gown and helped deliver some of the better life vocals of the evening. Shelton and Stefani ended the performance with a chaste embrace after staring into each other's eyes throughout the entirety of the song.

The BBMAs is a major promo slot for Shelton's If I'm Honest album—that dropped on Friday, May 20—and features collaborations with Stefani and country-gospel vocal quartet The Oak Ridge Boys.
