Last month we told you the fine folk behind Coachella were planning on organizing a huge rock 'n' roll festival for later in the year. Goldenvoice/AEG told the L.A. Times they were hoping to bring The Rolling StonesBob DylanPaul McCartneyThe WhoNeil Young and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd for its founding lineup. And they did!

The fest is called Desert Trip and will take place at the same site as Coachella, the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., this year from Oct. 7-9. 

The day-to-day lineup is as follows:

Oct. 7: The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan
Oct. 8: Paul McCartney, Neil Young
Oct. 9: Roger Waters, The Who
