Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the franchise's first non-trilogy film, and it's using the opportunity to go back between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. With the plot surrounding the Rebel Alliance's theft of the Empire's Death Star plans, the biggest looming question has been if there's any way Darth Vader could not appear.

Today we can almost definitely put our doubts to rest and move forward assuming that Anakin Skywalker's Dark Side alias is hitting the screen again. A newly released preview of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story—The Official Visual Story Guide shows Vader dead center on a page depicting the good guys on one side and the baddies on the other. The only thing bigger than Vader's helmet is the Death Star.

Collider (via Jedi-Bibliothek) has a thorough breakdown of the Rogue One book, including character names: Felicity Jones, as we learned in the chilling trailer, is Jyn Erso. Diego Luna is Captain Cassian Andor; Jiang Wen is Baze, Riz Ahmed plays Bodhi, Donnie Yen is Chirrut, and two unamed actors play Pao (not to be confused with Poe) and Bistan.

Rogue One hits theaters on Dec. 16, 2016. While you wait, check out our predictions for Episode VIII.
