Two years ago, Gwar frontman Dave Brockie, better known as Oderus Urungus, died of a heroin overdose. He was 50 years old. The iconic metal band is keeping Brockie's legacy alive by continuing to host the annual live music event GWAR-B-Q in their native Virginia at Hadad’s Lake.

They've just announced the initial lineup for their year's event and it looks pretty solid. Get ready to see Against Me!Lamb of GodAmerican Nightmare, EYEHATEGOD and Lagwagon, among others.

The event will take place August 20, starting at 10 A.M. If you can make it, get ready for a fun-filled day of heavy-as-sin tunes!
