On Monday night (May 16) in Los Angeles at the Belasco Theater, James Blake performed tracks from his new album The Colour in Anything for the very first time. As Pitchfork points out, the artist welcomed Moses Sumney and Connon Mockasin to the stage for a rendition of the record's title track (posted above), and also breezed through "Timeless" and "Modern Soul."

Blake's newest record released online without much warning on May 5. The Colour in Anything features collaborations with Bon Iver and Frank Ocean among its sprawling 17-tracks, and was produced by industry-sage Rick Rubin.

Watch Blake, the multi-talented Beyoncé co-conspirator, perform "Timeless" and "Modern Soul" below.
