Funny or Die took it upon themselves to make Jay Z’s response video to Beyoncé’s visual album Lemonade and Jay is both very sad and very sorry.

While no evidence of marital infidelity has been made public, a narrative of Hov’s extramarital affairs dominates both the lyrics to Lemonade and the reception of the album. “I’m sorry. The Roc is in the building,” the Jay Z impersonator begins. “Look baby, life gave you lemons and you made Lemonade. Life gave me Lemonade and now I’m doing this.” The description for the video is described as Jay’s “own artistic movie about the affair.”

Funny or Die’s Jay Z character continues to say in the introduction: “I wanted to reach out to filmmakers I know to make this response special, but no one wants to work with me. Everyone is mad because I cheated on my wife. I can’t believe I cheated on Beyoncé.”
