Justin Bieber is asking fans not to take photos of him anymore—not only in meet & greet situations, but out in public as well. The singer took to Instagram to write out an explanation:

The Instagram post comes shortly after he was seen taking a barefoot stroll and feeding squirrels in Boston before his Purpose World Tour show that night.

However, some people have no sympathy for the Biebs, saying that the burden of fame is on him, since he chose his career path.

But Justin sees those people. Here's his response to a fan who commented on his Instagram.

"I'm going to keep making decisions I feel are fit for my growth and no human being will make me feel bad for it," he wrote.

Bieber canceled his meet & greets earlier this year, citing exhaustion and depression as the reason he can't meet with 200 fans a night on tour. At some events, he was replaced by a cardboard cutout.

"I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy," he had said in March.
