The 2016 Billboard Music Awards already have major artist moments planned for their big night, but the latest unveiling could have people talking the most. According to TMZKesha has a statement performance in the works that will "make direct references to her ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke...and might even include images of him.”

This alleged bold performance from the singer will come after her cover of Lady Gaga's "'Til It Happens To You" at the Rescue! Gala, where she dedicated the performance to anyone who has suffered from abuse.

The artist has slowly been making a return to music, thanks to her "True Colors" collaboration with Zedd and an upcoming tour with Diplo's Mad Decent Block Party. In more recent legal news, Kesha replaced Mark Geragos (who has represented her throughout the Dr. Luke battle) as her lawyer.

Look out for the Billboard Music Awards live from Las Vegas on May 22, where Britney Spears and Céline Dion are set to receive the Millennium Award and Icon Award, respectively.
