These days it certainly feels like Puddle of Mudd are better known for their frontman Wes Scantlin's run-ins with the law than their actual music. It started in 2012, when Scantlin was arrested for being belligerent on a flight. In 2015, he was busted for attempting to ride the luggage carousel at the Denver International Airport. At the beginning of this year he was arrested yet again for destroying property in a home he previously owned...days after he was taken in on drug charges. Most recently he was involved in a police standoff and arrested on a previous warrant.

It's a lot, right? Well, that's not the end of the story. Scantlin finished a Puddle of Mudd set last night (May 1) in Hermosa Beach, Calif., but before he could join his band for an encore, police showed up. You can view footage of the altercation above.

According to Metal Sucks, he was taken in for skipping out on bail, which made a judge up the cost to $250,000 and issue a warrant for his arrest.

Messy stuff.
