The first full Radiohead song from their first album since 2011 has arrived. “Burn the Witch” was released in full on Tuesday morning (May 3), after being teased with multiple Instagram clips in the hours before.

The animated clip is a macabre retelling of multiple parables, most notably The Wicker Man (watch the full clip to see why). Meanwhile, “Burn the Witch” is a racing, strings-laden tale of hopelessness, with Thom Yorke crooning about panic attacks, abandoning all reason and “red crosses on wooden doors.”

“Burn the Witch” is a phrase associated with a leaflet Radiohead recently mailed to fans. The animation in the “Burn the Witch” video was previewed in this morning’s Instagram posts.

The follow-up to The King of Limbs does not yet have a release date. Until it gets one, enjoy the new song and its startling visual.
