Rihanna continues to give back to her community, thanks to a global college scholarship program that was launched by her Clara Lionel Foundation on Monday (May 9). According to a press release, it was "designed to help students achieve their fullest potential and obtain their college degree."

Applications are now officially open, and students who are residents in Barbados, Brazil, Cuba, Haiti, Guyana, Jamaica and the United States will have the chance to be granted with scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.

In order to be eligible, candidates have to be first-time students already accepted into a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the 2016-2017 year. The application will run through June 10, with the winners (plucked from 50 finalists) announced in August 2016. Click here for more information.
