Slipknot's Corey Taylor Joins Stone Temple Pilots For Benefit Concert: Watch
Since the untimely death of longtime frontman Scott Weiland, the Stone Temple Pilots have been testing the waters with a few new singers. Linkin Park's Chester Bennington originally filled the void, and rumors of Creed's Scott Stapp joining have also percolated, but it was Slipknot's Corey Taylor that appeared with the band at the Adopt the Arts benefit concert in Los Angeles last Thursday (May 12).
A few videos of Taylor intoning a near-perfect imitation of Weiland's baritone growl have started to make the rounds, and it's definitely worth watching STP burn through "Sex Type Thing" above.
