Clearly when Taylor Swift was picked to co-chair the 2016 Met Ball, she took her job very seriously. That included garnering some of the best talent for attendees at dinner and the afterparty.

Those who checked out the Snapchat Live story that covered the Met Gala would see backstage shots from the likes of Katy PerryKanye West and Orlando Bloom at the star-studded affair. They also got a peep inside the after-party, which included a clip of Swift introducing the night's musical guest, The Weeknd. Here's what she said when introducing him alongside to Idris Elba:

"[The] special musical guest at the Met Gala started out of as an underground R&B act and has now become one of the most important musical acts of our time."

Of course, a Snapchat only lasts 10 seconds so we didn't see what else Tay had to say, but, yeah, she really, really likes him.

For his part, The Weeknd performed "Can't Feel My Face," brought out Nas for "Tell Your Friends" (watch it here), and a Prince cover with "When Does Cry."
