Before The Land’s screening at Sundance in January this year, it was announced that Nas would serve as an executive producer for the film, as well as producing the soundtrack (via Variety).

The trailer for the film was recently released and it reveals that it will feature new music from a number of hip-hop artists. Notably, new music will be heard from Nas, Kanye West, and two of the of the film’s actors, Erykah Badu and Machine Gun Kelly. Additionally, there will be new music coming from Pusha TJeremihNosaj Thing, and French Montana.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr., The Land is centered on four Cleveland teens with skateboarding aspirations, who become part of the city’s drug trade. In the brief trailer above, you can even see a blue-haired Badu, who plays a neighborhood sex worker.

The Land hits theaters July 29, the same day the soundtrack becomes available.
