On Friday night, Billy Joel took a stage at a venue much smaller that Madison Square Garden, where he has an ongoing residency.

When not backing Joel onstage, members of his supporting band perform as Big Shot, a tribute band to Billy Joel. The Piano Man was at their show at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, New York, and decided to perform a three-song set. Watch collected fan footage above (via Rolling Stone).

Joel kicked off his appearance with Joe Cocker’s version of “With A Little Help From My Friends,” the Beatles classic. He followed that up with the Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women,” after which Joel sang his own song “You May Be Right” that was mixed with Led Zeppelin's “Rock and Roll.”
