For those of you who may not have heard, Hillary Clinton, who was up against Bernie Sanders, clinched the Democratic nomination for president after winning the California primary on Tuesday night. It's the first time in U.S. history that a woman will be a major-party candidate.
Whether you're popping bottles at home or crying for Bernie, some of your favorite celebs are celebrating the win—mostly Katy Perry, who's been known to stan for Clinton hard enough at rallies that she's made her own DIY shirts for Hillary.
Regardless of where you stand politically, tonight is a very special night for women in this country. 240 years later, it's about time.— Josh Gad (@joshgad) June 8, 2016
