Last week, Christina Aguilera returned with "Change," with plans to send 100 percent of the U.S. proceeds to the National Compassion Fund, set up for victims of the Orlando mass shooting at LGBT club Pulse. On Thursday night, she brought a powerful live rendition to Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Watch above as Christina, backed by a gentle band and a quartet of backing vocalists, belts out call-to-action lines like, "Waiting for a change to set us free / Waiting for the day when you can be you and I can be me / Waiting for hope to come around / Waiting for the day when hate is lost and love is found."

Tributes to Orlando have already come from the likes of BeyoncéAdeleLady Gaga, Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace and Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda, just to name a small selection.
