When Fuse and Voto Latino joined forces this year for Crash The Parties — a competition to give two young talents the chance to cover the 2016 Democratic and Republican National Conventions — Arlene Santana had a special blend of on-camera and reporting skills that helped the rising host and actress land one of the coveted spots. You’ll see her in Philadelphia covering the Democrats come July 25-28.
Santana’s always pursued her dreams of being in front of the camera or on stage. After earning a degree in theater arts from Texas’ St. Edward’s Univeristy, Santana headed to L.A. where she has not only gotten roles in major Hollywood films including Star Trek Beyond and Fast 5, she’s also been a host on the small screen, appearing on "E! News Now" for E! online, "Court Report" for the Tennis Channel and more.
The Sullivan City, Texas native hasn’t slept on accruing impressive stage credits as well. Santana co-starred in the Los Angeles productions of both Nine Circles and Unmerciful Good Fortune.
Keep your eyes locked on Fuse.tv and CrashTheParties16.com this July as she and Crash The Parties RNC winner James Villalobos bring you the goods from both parties’ conventions.
