Deadpool, the newest superhero to join the Marvel film franchise, makes a surprise appearance in the Japanese version of the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer.
At around the 2:30 mark in the trailer, Deadpool shows up for an after-the-credits commentary scene. "I know what you're thinking, an after-credits scene for a trailer?” Deadpool jokes. “I thought they only did that for movies?”
Ryan Reynolds’ character then continues to list “things you may have missed in the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer.” Among his highlights are his own wisecracks on the Canadian band Rush and his promotion of his own movie, Deadpool, by announcing its release in Japan. As Deadpool fans may know, a sequel has already been confirmed.
