Ellen DeGeneres has been known to let her viewers help her get in on the laughs by setting them out to find hilarious coincidences out in the world. Fans can submit videos and photos on her website, and from there, who knows? She's been known to make a ton of people famous (shout-out to Sophia Grace and the Damn, Daniel kids).
But one person featured on the show was not too happy about her 15 seconds of fame, and according to TMZ, is suing the tv host for defamation and invasion of privacy.
An Ellen contributor found the name Titi Pierce on a "for sale" sign in a neighborhood and sent it to DeGeneres, who then put it on the big screen on her show. DeGeneres pronounced it "titty pierce" for maximum, childish comedic effect, but the real estate agent claims in her lawsuit that no one has made that mistake in her life.
"The name-calling led to immediate ridicule and raucous laughter from the show's live and television audiences," she said in the suit, saying that to add on to the humiliation, she was on the way to a funeral when she found out.
DeGeneres has yet to comment.
