Miley Cyrus set her wild-child performance antics aside and channeled her inner Broadway star when she guested on the premiere episode of Maya & Marty on Tuesday night. NBC's new variety show featured big actors like Steve Martin and Tom Hanks, but it was the singer who had the shining moment.

Miley (who looked dapper in a top hat and tuxedo) began her performance with a cover of Leonard Cohen's 1988 tune “I’m Your Man,” and soon ripped off her pants for a rousing rendition of Peggy Lee's 1962 song “I’m A Woman" alongside the show's co-host, Maya Rudolph.

Maya & Marty had big celebrity backings even before its debut last night, as Jack White wrote the funky theme song for the show. Check that out here, then flip through a roundup of Miley's best music moments.
