Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson continues to expand his brand from high-impact action films with his new role in Disney's new animated film, Moana. In the teaser trailer, which is set in South Pacific world of Oceana, the actor plays the legendary demigod Maui.

He tells a story of how he used magical fishhook to slow down the sun and pull islands from the ocean's floor to titular character Moana (voiced by Auli'i Cravalho), but she is none too impressed.

Moana will feature music from Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa'i and Mark Mancina. The film, which includes Disney's first non-white character since 2009's The Princess and the Frog, will hit theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.
