The full list of artists participating and performing in KCON 2016 Presented by Toyota is officially complete!
The Los Angeles artist lineup is cemented with standout rookie boy band Monsta X group as the last artist to join the world's biggest Korean-culture festival at the city's famed Staples Center. Back in March, KCON revealed that it would once again bring three days of panels, workshops, food trucks, artist meet-and-greets and convention fun along with two days of concerts to its original LA location, while growing to two days of convention and concerts for its New York date.
Monsta X is less than a year old, but the seven-member boy band has already found a way to make their mark on the K-pop scene. The group was created on the singing competition show No.Mercy and has since put out three strong EPs including this year's The Clean, Pt. 1 featuring the spectacularly spastic single "All In." KCON 2016 will mark the group's second appearance at the festival after they participated last year in Los Angeles.
KCON will continue giving updates on the festival during its weekly #KCONLiveChat at 8/7c on Thursdays. Check back to Fuse every week for the latest KCON announcements too.
Tickets for KCON New York (on June 24 and 25 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ) are on sale now. Tickets for the LA date (from July 29-31 at the Staples Center) go on sale tomorrow, June 10, at 10:00am PST. Prices range from $50 to $250 for single tickets and $800 for platinum ticket that offers access to all concerts and the convention.
