Selena Gomez has reportedly cancelled a scheduled meet-and-greet with fans at her Miami concert tonight, June 11, following the death of her friend Christina Grimmie who was shot and killed while signing autographs for fans. E! News exclusively reported the cancellation.

"My heart is absolutely broken," Gomez wrote on Twitter this afternoon, while sharing a photo of her and Grimmie. "I miss you Christina." Selena also shared how fans could support the late singer's family via a GoFundMe page, set up by Grimmie's manager Brian Teddy who is also Gomez's stepfather and is credited for discovering on YouTube along with Selena.

Grimmie and Gomez performed together on the latter star's various tours and even filmed for Disney Channel and shot commercials together.

Christina had spoken about her bond with Gomez and her family in 2011. "I'm so blessed that they're in my life," she told Seventeen. "They're literally like a family—Selena has been so encouraging ever since we got hooked up. It's crazy! It's very much a fairy tale."
