Snoop Dogg recently stepped back from the hit-making, trading in rhymes for coaching youth football and stints as an amateur zoologist, but the almighty Dogg-Father is still a master on the mic.

Our latest evidence of Snoop's rhyme-prowess is the new single "Legend," where he takes a near four minute turn reinforcing just how important he's been for rap over the years. You can listen to the flex-worthy track below.

Earlier this month, Snoop announced his 14th solo album Coolaid, which is set to release July 1 on the rapper's own Doggystyle records. The record features collaborations with Swizz Beats, Jeremih, Just Blaze and E-40, and should hearken back to his early days if its cover is any indication.
