Earlier this year we hopped on the phone with Deryck Whibley, frontman of iconic Canadian pop-punk band Sum 41 to talk about the band's upcoming, PledgeMusic-crowdfunded release (the system really works—fans made this comeback, sixth studio album happen!) A few months later we learned they signed with Hopeless Records for the release and today we get a better sense of when this bad boy is dropping.

According to Whibley, we can expect a brand new full-length in the fall.

He wrote in a PledgeMusic update, "The new album will be coming out in the fall of this year. As we have more specific info, we’ll be sharing it with you, FIRST!” Check that out right here.

Make sure to revisit an old, original Fuse interview with the Sum 41 guys, below.
