The CW’s Supergirl just scored a former caped crusader to play the President of the United States.

Lynda Carter, best known as Wonder Woman on the 70’s TV series of the same name, has signed on to the show, Variety reports. No word on how large or small the recurring role will be, but it will mark Carter’s first scripted TV role in nearly a decade; the 64-year-old previously guest-starred on another superhero show, Smallville, in 2007.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Supergirl will be casting a Superman for its upcoming season, which will be its first season on the CW after premiering on sister network CBS. The Man of Steel is the cousin of the titular heroine, Kara Zor-El (played by Melissa Benoist).
