Troye Sivan and Alessia Cara became pop pals after the Aussie singer covered her "Here" smash earlier this year. Now, Cara is returning the love by hopping on the new version of Blue Neighbourhood's "Wild."
The song, which is the opener for Sivan's debut album, doesn't get any reworks in term of production. But Cara does freshen up the new version with lovely harmonies and equally romantic lyrics.
"We’re alike you and I / Two blue hearts locked in our wrong minds/ So can we make the most our of no time? / Can you hold me? / Can you make me leave my demons and my broken pieces behind?"
Along with collaborating with Troye for "Wild," Alessia is promoting her new single "Wild Things," from her debut Know-It-All LP. Recently, Troye spoke up about his thoughts on the Orlando shooting. He told PEOPLE,
"I think it's just heartbreaking. I just want to send so much love and support to the victims and the victim's families. It shows how far we have to go still and reminds the LGBTQ community to not become complacent. Use this as a wake-up call to keep going and to keep being loud and proud and to keep trying to encourage tolerance, and love and acceptance in the world."
