Once the pride and joy of sitcom fanatics everywhere, Arrested Development might be due for yet another new season, the show's creator Micah Hurwitz revealed on Wednesday, according to Variety.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour for Netflix comedies Bojack Horseman, F is for Family and Lady Dynamite, Hurwitz explained that if another vaunted reunion is to take place, it "looks like the shooting will start at the beginning of 2017.”
Given that the show's cast—which includes Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Will Arnett, David Cross, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter and Portia de Rossi—are all considerably more famous than when the show began, corralling all the actors might take some time.
But still, Hurwitz is itching to reunite the dysfunctional family: "It's the thing I'm really desperate to do," he said. "We’ve got a lot of the stories broke and we’re ready to go.”
