Coldplay kicked off the North American leg of their summer tour this past weekend with a pair of shows at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

On Saturday night (July 16), as part of the show’s encore, Coldplay invited Michael J. Fox to perform two songs that are included in the cult classic Back to the Future. “I was just wondering if you could play a song from both of our favorite movie, Back to the Future,” Chris Martin’s son asked in a video clip shown in concert. Coldplay started off with a rendition of the Penguin’s “Earth Angel,” featured in the movie’s Enchantment Under the Sea dance. Watch footage above (via Billboard).

Following “Earth Angel,” Coldplay and Fox broke out into Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode,” also played in the same segment in the film.

Coldplay are currently on tour behind their 2015 full-length A Head Full of Dreams, which may be the last Coldplay record they release.
