Gamers, comic book mavens and an all star cadre of musicians will collide when San Diego Comic Con 2016 kicks off on Wednesday.
Billboard reports that Tyga, Justin Timberlake, Troye Sivan and even the death metal powerhouse Slayer will be in attendance for various performances and promotional activities, which cap off on Friday, July 23.
Timberlake will be in the house to promote the forthcoming Trolls film, alongside co-star Anna Kendrick. There's no word on whether J.T. will give a performance of his Trolls soundtrack single "Can't Stop The Feeling," although there will be plenty of live music to satisfy the comic book intelligentsia: Tyga will appear at the MTV Fandom Awards pre-party at Fluxx nightclub on Wednesday night, while Troye Sivan—who also appears in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine—is giving a free concert at Horton Plaza Park.
But because there's something for everyone at Comic Con, death metal overlords Slayer are set to give a performance at the San Diego House of Blues on Thursday. They're not in attendance to promote anything other than loud and angry music, and will sign autographs at the Dark Horse Comics booth on Friday.
